Our Values: respect, empowerment, accountability, collaboration, excellence

At FCRS we are dedicated to nurturing and empowering the marginalised young people in Conakry Guinea. Our mission is: to provide essential education and support to the most disadvantaged children and youth, helping them build a brighter, more hopeful future.

UK Charity since 2008

FCRS has been a UK registered charity since 2008 (Charity no,1124736). We have a committed Chair Rolf Levesley, who oversees the strategic direction and governance of the charity. The Chair works closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure that our mission aligns with our actions and that we effectively support our partner school CRS.

Our Board of Trustees includes a diverse group of individuals who bring a wealth of expertise and experience in various fields. They are responsible for making major decisions and guiding the overall policy of the organization. The Director, Jackie Watkins, working under the Trustees, manages the day-to-day operations, ensuring that our projects and initiatives are executed effectively.

The role of Secretary/Treasurer is crucial as it involves managing the financial health of our organization. This position ensures that all funds are accounted for and that we maintain transparency with our donors and supporters. Additionally, our success is heavily reliant on the dedication and passion of our volunteers who contribute their time and skills to help us achieve our goals.
