The provision of a science lab by The Merck Family Fund and training of two science teachers to run it and teach practical science means science students at CRS can practice their practical science skills throughout their higher education and it has already begun to pay off. In 2019 only five students specialised in science at the top of the school, now science classes are full!

Mentoring for science

The students benefit from remote mentoring by two UK science Phd’s. Dr Alan Farnaby and Dr Andy Nicol visited the school  in October 2023. They delivered master classes to encourage students to take up science education and led practical science sessions for students in the new lab.
