Join us for a day of sharing and discussion as we talk about "The Girl With The Louding Voice" a book by West African born author, Abi Dare.
The day will be brought to life by the stories of girls from Conakry Refugee School and their journey into womanhood.
The afternoon will be given over to exploring our own personal responses to the themes in the book in words or images (or just continue to chat if you prefer!)
We will begin with tea, coffee and cake, have a break for a home made lunch and finish with tea and cake (please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions).
All profits from the day will go to support girl's education in West Africa through our projects at Conakry Refugee School, Guinea.
